Seko Synergy expands to South Africa

Seko Synergy has launched a new company in Johannesburg and Durban to support exporters and importers in South Africa.

The new company has been launched by three South African logistics professionals with more than 65 years' collective experience in the logistics industry: managing director Richard Mallabone and fellow directors Chandra Booysen and Samantha Bellaram.

Seko Synergy offers a full range of logistics services that include air, ocean, brokerage, warehousing and distribution from its two locations, which include a 4,000 m2 warehouse facility close to Johannesburg International Airport.

The new company is owned and run by South Africans; Seko Synergy already complies with Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Legislation and has been certified as a Level 4 contributor. The company has set its sights on Level 3 certification during 2009.

Seko Synergy South Africa is part of the global network of 120 SEKO offices in more than forty countries, with all non-US offices being locally owned.
