Maersk reshuffles its Asia-Australia service

Maersk Line will combine three Asia-Australia services into one single pendulum loop.

The new "Boomerang Service" combines the present North Asia-Australia (AU1), East Asia-Australia (AU2), and South East Asia-Australia (AU3) services.

Maersk will deploy ten vessels on the new Boomerang Service, on the following port rotation:

Boomerang - North East Asia (Southbound): Yokohama (Japan), Nagoya (Japan), Osaka (Japan), Busan (South Korea), Qingdao (China), Shanghai (China), Ningbo (China), Chiwan (China), Hong Kong, Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Sydney (Australia), Melbourne (Australia), Fremantle (Australia).

Boomerang - North East Asia (Northbound): Fremantle (Australia), Melbourne (Australia), Sydney (Australia), Brisbane (Australia), Yokohama (Japan), Nagoya (Japan), Osaka (Japan), Busan (South Korea), Qingdao (China), Shanghai (China), Ningbo (China), Chiwan (China), Hong Kong (HK), Kaohsiung (Taiwan).

Boomerang - South East Asia (Southbound): Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia), Fremantle (Australia), Melbourne (Australia), Sydney (Australia), Brisbane (Australia).

Boomerang - South East Asia (Northbound): Sydney (Australia), Melbourne (Australia), Fremantle (Australia), Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia).
